Adrian Adamowicz

president of the management BOARD

Adrian Adamowicz has 27 years of experience gained in Polish and international financial institutions. In the years 2009 - 2017 he was the managing director at PKO Bank Polski responsible for the retail banking sales area, including SMEs and Private Banking and development of traditional and digital distribution channels. Adrian Adamowicz was a member of the supervisory boards of PKO TFI, PKO Życie TU, PKO TU, PKO Leasing, and Kredobank SA. Previously, he was the president of AXA TFI, a member of the management board for sales at Pioneer Pekao TFI SA and the head of marketing at Pioneer Investments in the region of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). As the director of institutional sales, he co-founded PKO/Credit Suisse TFI SA. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in the field of Banking. He has an Executive MBA title. He is a speaker at conferences in Poland and abroad.

Member of the Management Board

Piotr Rzeźniczak – Member of the Management Board, the Head of Investment Team. Mr Rzeźniczak began his career in 1993 at Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy. From 1994 to 1996 he worked at Creditanstalt Securities as a senior analyst. Since 1996 he worked at Pioneer TFI, later at Pekao Pioneer Investment Management as an analyst, and as the head of analytics team. He was a fund manager at PPTFI Pioneer in the period of 1997 – 2006. Late 2006 and early 2007 he held the position of an advisor to the Management Board, and consequently the President of the Management Board at PTE PZU Złota Jesień. He has been serving as the Head of Investment Team at ESALIENS since September 2007.

Norbert Talarczyk

Norbert Talarczyk graduated from the Poznań University of Economics, specializing in Capital Investments and Corporate Financial Strategies. He started working in finance at CitiBank Handlowy, where he initially dealt with the development of the Citigold offer from the sales side, then he held the position of Citigold Branch Director, managing the largest team of advisors at the bank. In 2008 - 2017 he was associated, among others, with Black Rock Investment Management UK Ltd and KBC TFI. From 2017, he was the managing director of Skarbiec TFI, responsible for the development of sales departments - an agency network and distribution for institutional clients. In ESALIENS Investment Fund Company, as a Member of the Management Board, Norbert Talarczyk is responsible for the development of the distribution network, operations and marketing department.

MAREK POPIELAS

MEMBER OF THE Management boarD

Marek Popielas - Member of the Management Board of ESALIENS TFI S.A. from 2021, previously associated with the Company in 2011-2019. A graduate of the University of Economics in Wrocław (major in Finance and Banking), he continued his education in economic sciences during doctoral studies at the Collegium of World Economy of the Warsaw School of Economics. He has over 20 years of experience in the investment fund sector. In 1999-2010 he was employed at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (the Securities and Exchange Commission until 2006) as the Deputy Director in the Department of Investment Funds and the Advisor to the Chairman among others. As an expert of the supervisory authority, he participated in the CESR international forum in the field of investment fund regulation. He also participated in the implementation of regulations on capital adequacy of investment firms. In 2011-2013, he was responsible for legal compliance and risk management at Legg Mason Zarządzanie Aktywami S.A. Before rejoining the team of ESALIENS TFI S.A. he managed the compliance unit at Templeton Asset Management (Poland) TFI S.A., within the European structures of the Franklin Templeton group. Currently at ESALIENS TFI S.A., he is associated with the areas of compliance, regulatory and supervisory as well as risk management.

ANDRZEJ SOŁDEK

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, where in 1996 he obtained a master's degree in foreign trade. In 2000, he participated in the Strategic Management Study at the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland. He has the following licenses: broker (1992), investment advisor (1994) and CFA (2004). He gained professional experience in the ING Group, Zurich PTE SA, PTE PZU SA, Skarbiec Holding SA, from July 1, 2018 to November 30, 2020, Member of the Management Board of Skarbiec TFI SA responsible for finance, risk and operations. In the years 2003-2005 he was a member of the Supervisory Boards of companies listed on the WSE: W. Kruk SA, Polfa Kutno SA, and Elektrobudowa SA (2003-2004), then in 2017-2018 a member of the supervisory boards of Elektrobudowa SA, Ferro SA, Skarbiec Holding SA and Tarczyński SA. He is a member of the Association and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of CFA Society Poland and a member of the GPW Consulting Committee for Corporate Governance.

JAROSŁAW KOŁKOWSKI

Jarosław Kołkowski is a legal advisor specializing in court and arbitration disputes in the field of commercial law, as well as administrative proceedings with particular emphasis on regulatory proceedings, including before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. As part of his practice, he represents, among others investment fund companies, investment funds and participants of these funds in disputes regarding asset management and acting as depositary. He has extensive experience in handling corporate affairs of private public companies. In the years 2000-2016 he worked at the Weil, Gotshal & Manges law office. the role of partner in the process department. Since the beginning of 2017, he has been a partner at Drzewiecki, Tomaszek & Partners.

JANUSZ JANKOWIAK

Economist, graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Trade at the Warsaw School of Economics (now the Warsaw School of Economics), two-time winner of the NBP and Rzeczpospolita competition for the best macroeconomic analyst of the year (2009, 2012), scholarship holder of the European Commission (Brussels, Lisbon) and the Kościuszko Foundation in New York, graduate of advanced macroeconomics courses at the University Pampeu Fabra in Barcelona, co-founder and member of the first board of the Polish Association of Business Economists. He is a long-term chairman of the Supervisory Board of Dom Maklerski NWAI. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of MAK Investments S.A. He worked at the Scientific Foundation Center for Social and Economic Analyzes. From 2000 in the commercial sector as chief economist - initially at Westdeutsche Landesbank, and in 2001-2006 at BRE Bank. He advised the deputy prime minister-minister of economy Jerzy Hausner. Until his resignation, in autumn 2008, he was a member of the Team of Strategic Advisors to the Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, performing this function socially. Decorated with the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Since February 2006, he has been running his own consulting company "JJ Consulting", working, among others, with such clients as: Polish Business Council, ITI, Kulczyk Holding SA, Prokom Investments, Spectra, x-KOM, Holding Wronki SA, Agora SA, DFM BRE , BRE Bank Securities, Skarbiec TFI, Deutsche Bank, Arka Asset Management, Alior Bank, Hestia STU, KGHM S.A, Union Investment TFI S.A.

MICHAŁ OTTO

A graduate of the Maritime University of Szczecin. He has many years of professional experience in managing companies and institutions, such as: ABN AMRO Securities (Polska) S.A., Bydgoski Bank Komunalny S.A., Dom Maklerski "DML", IRCo Sp. z o. o. He has sat on the supervisory boards of many companies, incl. KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., Sferia S.A., Erbud S.A. He has a securities broker license and passed the exam for members of the Supervisory Boards of companies with State Treasury shareholding.

SŁAWOMIR BILIK

Finances professional, manager, graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, University of Gdańsk and Rotterdam School of Management. Associated with the financial market since 1994. In 1994-1995 expert of the Capital Investments Office at TUiR WARTA. In 1996-2006 he was associated with the AXA Group, where he was a member of the management board and then the president of the management board of AXA Assistance Polska, AXA Direct. In 2006 - 2008 he was associated with the Credit Agricole Group, where he was responsible for the insurance area as an advisor to the bank's management board and director of the CALI Europe branch. From 2015, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Prime Selection Dom Maklerski SA. Since 2008, President of the Management Board of the European Institute of Medical Expertise. Associated with the financial market since its inception. He completed numerous courses and trainings, including in the field of business management, strategic management, financial management and investment consulting.

Investment Team

The expertise of our employees is the foundation of an effective asset management and the guarantee of professionalism. The team of ESALIENS TFI SA has a many years experience in investing on equity and fixed-income markets. Among its members are people who have been present in the Polish capital market almost from the very beginning of its existence.

KRZYSZTOF SOCHA, CFA - Investment Director, equity market

A holder of an investment advisor’s licence no. 209 and a securities broker’s licence no. 1805. He received the title of a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2004. He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics. He has been working in the capital market since 2000. He was employed at the Dom Maklerski BZ WBK (brokerage house) (initially at DM WBK) from 2000 to 2004 firstly as a securities broker and subsequently as an investment advisor and equity analyst. From July 2004 to October 2006 he worked for SEB TFI as an investment analyst and subportfolio manager in charge of Central and Eastern  Europe. From November 2006 to September 2007 he served as a portfolio advisor responsible for Central and Eastern Europe markets at Absolute Capital Management in Spain. At the same time from November 2006 to October 2007 he held the post of a management board member of the Wrocławski Dom Maklerski SA (brokerage house). He has been employed at ESALIENS since 2007.

PIOTR GRZYBOWSKI, CFA - Investment Director, equity market

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics in the field of Finance and Banking, holding investment advisor licence (No. 666) and CFA title. Involved with the capital market since 2007. He started his career in 2006 as an assistant in the audit and business advice department at TPA Horwath. Employed as an analyst of shares responsible for the TMT sector at BRE Bank Investment House (currently mBank) in 2007-2012. Next, in 2013-2021, in the position of shares analyst in Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU. In Esaliens TFI since August 2021.

ANDRZEJ BIENIEK, CFA - Investment Director, equity market

Andrzej has a license of securities broker, of investment advisor and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst certificate holder. He started his professional career in 2012 at Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion and the Transaction Advisory Department of Ernst & Young. Then in 2012-1016 he was employed as a Senior Equity Analyst in the banking and financial sector at Dom Maklerski BZ WBK (currently DM Santander). From 2016 to 2018, he managed absolute return and private equity funds at Capital Partners TFI. In 2018-2021 he was an analyst and then an asset manager of DFE (voluntary pension fund) and OFE (open pension fund) at MetLife PTE. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, major in Finance and Accounting, specializing in financial markets.

OLAF PIETRZAK - Investment Director, fixed-income market

From 1997 to 2007 Olaf Pietrzak was employed by Aviva Group in Poland (formerly Commercial Union), where he initially managed the debt securities portfolios of Aviva Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie and then the debt investment funds of Aviva Investors Poland TFI. From 2007 to 2016 he worked for Skarbiec TFI, initially as Fund Manager and then as Director of the Debt and Alternative Products Group. In the latter position he was responsible for creating a wide range of the Society's debt products. Recently he worked for Lartiq TFI and Ipopema TFI as fund asset manager.

PIOTR ZYGMUNT, CFA - Investment Director, fixed-income market

Piotr is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (topic - economics), he has been professionally involved with financial institutions for nearly 15 years. He started his career as a junior economist at the Office of the Chief Economist of Bank BGŻ. He worked also as an analyst in the Investment Advisory Department of Noble Funds TFI, where he co-managed model portfolios of institutional clients and prepared the analysis of the global economy. He co-managed portfolios for institutional and individual clients at Dom Maklerski Alfa Zarządzanie Aktywami and in 2017-2021 he co-managed the fixed-income portion of investment funds' assets in TFI Energia (previously PGE TFI). He holds investment license No. 563. Since 2021 in Esaliens TFI SA team.
